Lucy Pevensie Markum. Because she is the probable star of our blog, I thought I would go ahead and get her introduction out of the way. Lucy is a three year-old Jack Russell terrier who is quite the money hole. Just today we went to the vet and found out she is allergic to flea bites and has a urinary tract infection. So one topical spray, special flea pill, and antibiotic later, she should be on her way to recovery. As you can see from the blinds, she has made herself a little window. Those will have to be replaced.
As much as she costs us though, we love her! Be prepared for more Lucy antics and stories, oh and maybe a little bit about Matt and me.
It rained almost the entire first day and the entire morning of our second day in Seaside. If you looked at the radar, the rain was coming in a thin line straight through Seaside with no end in sight. Our second day there, we decided to drive east to Panama City in hopes of finding a little sunshine. We had about an hour of decent weather when this storm suddenly came up on us.
Luckily, our little inn was super cute and offered a nice place to stay out of the rain. Our room was called Checkerberry.
After a delicious crab cake dinner at Red Bar, the weather finally cleared up!
We ventured over to Watercolor to eat at Pizza by the Sea. Some of the best pepperoni pizza we have ever had!
We were incredibly sunburned but not ready to go!
